Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California in the 9th day of July, 1983. Her first job after leaving school was in the industry of real estate. It was through this that she met her partner, Tarek El Moussa. They enjoyed great success through 2008, but then the market plummeted and numerous house flippers and real estate investors were bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa were nearly insolvent due to the stock market crash of the year 2008. Their apartment was $700 per week, compared to the $6,000 they had been spending per month on their house. The economy and their businesses slowly recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek sought out a partner to assist him in creating the HGTV audition tape that showed the two of them Christina turning a house start to finish. Pie Town Productions' executives were able to access the tape. The executives were in love with Tarek as well as Christina. They signed an official contract with HGTV in the year 2012. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013 Over seven seasons between 2013 and 2017 the show was broadcast in 92 episodes. The show featured Christina and Tarek buying properties in Orange County. They would work for weeks on reworking the properties to be able to sell them for profits. Tarek does the construction and remodelling while Christina is focused on designing and making sure that the project is on time.
