Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer is a country musician, actor and singer who rose to stardom in the world of television after she was chosen to play Alex in One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. The series featured her first albums as country music which helped her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015, also reached the Top Ten. Her decade was rounded out with participation in Dancing with the Stars. Voices is a self-doubting record that was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer was born and was raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to country music, and eventually went on to pursue a career in recording. But, she began her acting career as a teenager in 2002's indie horror film Dead/Undead. After appearing as a guest in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's recurring role on NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer then appeared as Portia Ranson in 90210 between 2008 and 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. She became a part of the cast on CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she continued to appear until the end of the show in 2012, about halfway through. Jana Kramer Kramer was a character on One Tree Hill from 2009 through the year 2012. Kramer had signed an agreement to sign an agreement with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country track I Won't Give Up in an One Tree Hill 2011 episode. Later, in 2012, the song was released via Jana Kramer - her first album. The track ranked fifth in the Billboard Top Country Albums. Following a shift to her professional profession in the field of music, Kramer was still acting, and she appeared in movies like Heart of the Country 2013 (which appealed to her fans) or Country Crush 2016 (which would be a hit with her music lovers). In October 2015, Kramer released thirty One with Warner Music Nashville. Thanks to the Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and the duet she did with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, achieving number three on the country album chart and number ten on the Billboard 200. Starting in September 2016, she spent two months participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, that ended in fourth place. That same year she made a splash with an adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
