Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 the 26th of May, 1978. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997) are among her best-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime on March 20, 2020. Her current role is analyst managing the Assassination Witness project as well as a core member of GI-TOC's multilateral engagement team. Research conducted by the GITOC are focused on assassinations, disappearances and various forms of violence that occur in the framework of illicit markets. Her research also focuses on the consequences of organized crime and human rights on humanitarian policy and the law. Ana Paula holds an LL.M Cum laude in International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Additionally, she holds the LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her professional experience is comprised of four years at a firm that specializes in public law litigation. In her past, she was employed by non-governmental organizations with headquarters at Rio de Janeiro as well as Geneva.
